Patchwork Aprons

A couple weeks ago, I was asked to sew two aprons for the kitchen help at my MOP's group. Of course, I procrastinated until I absolutely had to have them done ;)

I had picked up a pack of fat quarters while I was out fabric shopping, not knowing what I would use them for. I was just drawn to the colors and the pattern. They worked perfectly for this project. The two aprons are similar enough that they look like a matched set, but with just enough individuality to be different.

Each section of the apron is lined with bias tape. Not the easiest way to sew the apron together, but it kept all the seams covered- no raw seams are visible. Six yards of bias tape for each one ;)
