The Wrap Up
Another week, and more pictures... And more entertaining thoughts =)
Junior lost his second tooth.
Junior- junior hasn't lost his yet.
Nope, Girly- girl hasn't either =)
Lots of pictures like this...
I guess this is what you find when your camera disappears...
This is the full view of what was being built.
Time for a little roping practice.
And if you rope them, I guess you have to finish tying them up.
Another trip to the zoo...
The finished patio.
And cooking with Junior- junior. Minus the mess, because this was a completely staged photo =)
We did end up going to the polo match, but I forgot to bring my camera. Not that it would have mattered too much. The match was called after 3 chuckers because of the rain.

It's Finished!
The patio that is. Just need to sweep some more sand inbetween the pavers. Oh, and find a really nice patio set for really cheap =) I think I'll be looking through raigslist and freecycle the next couple days...
Oh wait, that's not the finished patio. That's just what you do with the left over stones.
And hopefully the spots on the lawn where the stones had been sitting will even out and we won't have to re-sod those areas =)

Dishing It Blog Party
Amanda over at Serenity Now is throwing a blog party. How fun! It's a great way to get to know follow bloggers and maybe even find some more blogs to follow... As if I don't have enough of those right now =)
So, pour yourself a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and be ready to be entertained...
~How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging shortly after my DH was deployed in November 2007. That blog was a great way for me to "have someone to talk to" at night after the kids had gone to bed. This blog was set to private and then eventually discontinued. In the spring of 2009, I "expanded" my blog to include more of the things I was making. I separated out my personal blog from my craft blog and came up with A Hodge Podge of Randomness and Designs By Lynette.
~Why did you start blogging?
At first it was to have someone to talk to at night, but then it turned into a way to share what the kids were doing with family and friends. This has been great, especially since we've moved across the country from our family. And the craft blog is a great way to have a record of what I've done.
~Tell me about your blog's title. Why did you choose it?
A hodge podge of randomness seems to fit my chaotic life and I tend to blog about random things. That and all the good blog names were taken =)
~What do you blog about?
Right now, it's mostly about what the kids are doing and adding lots of pictures for the grandparents to see. Every so often, I'll blog about races I've run or how my training is going. But mostly it's the kids.
~What is your favorite thing about blogging?
It's the modern version of a diary. No, seriously. Where else can you pour out your heart and get support and encouragement without having to "reveal" who you are?
~If you had to choose one famous person to become your blog's next devoted reader, who would you pick?
Hmm... Famous person... Not really sure how famous they're considered outside the running community, but if Paula Radcliff or Kara Goucher stopped by, I'd be tickled. Paula especially, because of the way she's combined running and family life and is still a top competitor.
~What's the funniest comment you've ever received on a blog post?
My friend Angie always seems to come up with some great lines. Not laugh out loud funny, but more of the groaner type lines.
And now since the kids are running wild, I should put the coffee down and stop the chaos =) Hope you all enjoyed a peak into my life. Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Flowers
I'm finally getting around to posting pictures and details for Girly- girl's Easter dress.
I used Simplicity 2675 View A and fabric from my stash.
Two for One
Yes, I'm behind on updating. The last couple weeks have been busy running around and with the weather being so beautiful, it's just been hard to stay inside on the computer =)
So, here it is. A recap of the last two weeks.
Having fun at the park. Most of the pictures were taken by the kids =)
Polo anyone? We're going to another match later this week, so I'm sure there will be more pictures.
I didn't manage to get pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits. By the time we got home, they were pretty messy. So, just pictures of them finding the Easter baskets.
More pictures at the park. And then Girly- girl decided she wanted to pull the stroller.
Just because they're cute and they were getting along.
Junior and the numku chucks and Girly- girl had the sword. I was slightly outnumbered.
This was Girly- girl's Easter dress. It had a matching purse to go with it.
Girly- girl looks better in it.
So there it is. Two weeks worth of pictures. Hopfully I'll be alittle more on top of things this week.
